What’s new on CharadeBox

New decks, game modes and fixes, with dates.

CharadeBox is here: act it, draw it, guess it

The first version has 16 decks — from classic charades and movies to Christmas, Thanksgiving and a deck made for drawing. One phone runs the whole game: whose turn it is, a word only the player sees, a timer, Got it and Skip, and the score. In Draw mode the phone becomes a sketch pad, and Mix mode alternates acting and drawing turns.

How new decks get here

Most decks start as a request. A teacher asks for verbs, a family asks for Thanksgiving, someone wants harder movies — and when a deck is asked for, we write it by hand, word by word, and test it in a real game before it goes live.

Words also get fixed. If a word is too hard for its level, is not something you can act or draw, or simply does not belong in a family game, tell us and it will be changed. Every change of that kind is listed here with its date.
