Draw on this phone
In Draw mode the phone is the sketch pad. The drawer holds a button to peek at the word, the team guesses from the screen, the phone keeps time and score.
All 199 drawing words
Easy words are single objects with a clear outline. Medium ones are scenes or actions. Hard ones are ideas you have to draw cleverly — “gravity”, “homesick”, “a needle in a haystack”.

How drawing turns work
- The phone shows whose turn it is. The drawer takes it; the team gathers round the screen.
- The drawer holds Hold to see the word, lets go, and starts drawing with a finger.
- Four colours, three brush sizes, Undo and Clear are at the bottom of the canvas.
- The team shouts guesses. Got it wipes the canvas and gives the drawer the next word — as many as fit in the time.
Rules most groups use
- No letters, numbers or symbols like “$” in the drawing.
- No talking or gestures from the drawer — only drawing.
- The guess has to be the exact word; close enough is the team’s call.
Want acting too?
Choose Mix in the setup and each team alternates between drawing and acting turns. CharadeBox is not affiliated with Mattel; Pictionary is their trademark and is mentioned here only to describe the kind of game.
