Wipe CharadeBox from this phone
Removes the saved game, the list of words you have already seen, your last settings and the random tab number of the game log. The game log on our server holds no names, so after this nothing links it to this phone.
Done — this phone has no CharadeBox data left.
The short version
CharadeBox has no accounts and asks for no names. The game runs in your browser; team names, team scores, your own words and drawings stay on your phone. Our server gets only a short game log: the deck, the mode, how many rounds were played and which words from our decks were skipped.
What is kept on your phone
To survive a reload or a locked screen, the game saves its state in your browser’s local storage: the team names you typed, the score, the current turn, the words already shown and your last settings. The saved game itself never leaves the phone, and you can delete it with the button above.
Game log
To find deck words that do not work and games that stop halfway, the game sends our server a short note when a game starts, when it ends, and when you leave in the middle of a game. The note holds the deck, the mode (Act, Draw or Mix), the difficulty, the turn length, the number of teams and rounds, which round the game reached and how it ended, how many words were guessed, skipped or swapped, and up to ten of the skipped and swapped words — only words printed in our ready-made decks. It also holds a random game number (kept in the saved game), a random tab number (kept in this tab’s session storage until the tab is closed), the page address, the time and whether the device is a phone.
Team names, team scores, your own words and drawings are never sent. Games with the Kids deck or on the Charades for Kids page send even less: besides the page address, the time and the phone flag, only the deck, the mode, the number of teams and rounds, and how far the game got — no game number, no tab number and no words.
The log has no IP address and no cookies, is not shared with anyone and is deleted after 180 days.

Children
CharadeBox is a family party game. It does not ask anyone, including children, for personal information, and it has no chat or sign-up. Kids games add only the shortest game log described above, without any game or tab number.
